Context
Before any pitch could work, OCS needed a clear picture of its own model. The organization ran an annual cycle, engaging graduating high school seniors as they enlisted, recognizing them locally, and then starting over with a new class the next year, but nobody had ever mapped that cycle out or explained it in a way a sponsor or donor could quickly understand.
Deliverables
Strategy, modeling, and tactical GTM for development
Roundtable discussions on strategy and tactics
Visuals for use across all pitch and sponsor materials
Written narrative and documentation of full OCS plan
Task
Created models around the annual cycle: who OCS served, how the recognition ceremonies repeated annually, what value each party received, and where a corporate partner or sponsor fit into that cycle. The goal was to package what OCS did into something simple enough to hand a stranger and have them understand the organization in five minutes, since that packaging became the foundation for every pitch deck and prospectus that came after it.
Outcomes
The models became the backbone of every sponsor conversation. Once OCS could clearly explain its operating cycle, the pitch materials, prospectus, and sponsor conversations became easier to build and explain in the room.
OCS applied the modeling, along with the rebranding materials, to provide marketing communications to its more than 35 partner communities.

Context
OCS had been operating for 10 years as a volunteer-driven nonprofit. The identity was dated, the website didn't read as professional, and fundraising relied on small individual donations. There was a strategy for fundraising, but not for corporate sponsors.
Task
Build the strategy, materials, and pitch to bring in bigger dollars, specifically from corporate donors with a direct interest in reaching young service members, including banks and financial institutions like Navy Federal. The value proposition was direct access to enlistees and their families at enlistment recognition ceremonies nationwide. The first version of the prospectus was deliberately broad, a kitchen-sink prospectus, meant to cast a wide net and see what actually resonated with sponsors before narrowing the pitch.
Outcomes
Over a season or two, this work helped secure roughly $600K in corporate partnerships, two to three times what OCS had raised before.
Deliverables
Strategy, modeling, and tactical GTM for partnership development
Sponsor prospectus and partnership collateral
Service packaging and value propositions covering both cash sponsorships and in-kind donations, e.g., equipment, event space, etc.

Context
With the refreshed OCS identity came the need for a new website that would serve as a means to increase brand awareness, develop OCS communities, partners, grants, and support fundraising activities.
Task
Develop a website that a volunteer could manage, which means simplicity in design and backend, i.e., not heavy on CSS code, and that facilitates organizations that need to raise awareness and facilitate fundraising.
Outcomes
Website delivered within 90 days of tasking. Simple, effective.
Deliverables
Full website
Backend documentation with instructional SOPs
