For the Christian Science Monitor (CSM), I led the product development and market launch a new financial news analysis service, “Monitor Global Outlook,” to offset a downturn in consumer product revenue.

The product was sold to corporate, financial, and government markets. Go-to-market plan reflects market research and tactical planning for executing a new product launch.

UNH-IOL Brand Redesign

Refreshing the brand to build awareness and create demand in a highly competitive market.

After more than 20 years with the same logo, look, and feel to their brand, UNH-IOL is finally changing.

As the largest industry-engagement unit on campus, IOL has a unique need for corporate recognition in a competitive for-profit environment.

The refreshed IOL brand is designed to resonate with a professional audience. Unlike academic institutions, which often emphasize tradition, heritage, and scholarly symbolism, corporate branding tends to prioritize clarity, efficiency, and a progressive aesthetic.

OLC Sponsorship Strategy & Planning

Increasing revenue through diversification of sponsorship opportunities.

At the Online Learning Consortium (OLC), we refocused current sponsorship opportunities at conferences and events into a broader strategy that created and increased sponsorship inventory across all products, services, and publications.

By creating a focused development process, marketing materials, and a careful go-to-market plan, this approach allowed OLC to double its advertising revenue within 24 months.

A media kit was part of the sponsorship package for distribution.

OLC Content Marketing Strategy

Creating constituent engagement, one story at a time.

At OLC, we created a simple content marketing program for increasing awareness, community, engagement, and enrollment in OLC programs.

This presentation is an internal document used to describe to the staff and our board members how the new marketing approach would work at OLC.

This approach to member outreach was recognized as the primary reason event, course, and membership enrollment increased over the years.

OLC Membership Demographics Research

Understanding the needs of our market and constituents.

At OLC, we conducted a simple analysis and demographic breakdown of the OLC user base, from the conference attendees to individual and enterprise members.

Information was used to plan content marketing topics, marketing campaigns, and to further segment and create professional development programming.

Research was used for:

  • Persona marketing

  • Demand generation/member acquisition

  • Targeted marketing for membership, events, and professional development courses

  • Customer support and upsells for more services
